After arrival in Chania we will provide you with a shuttle transfer to take you to your hotel in the harbor-front old town for the start of the tour. The group will meet on the first day around 5:00 pm in the hotel lobby for a casual meet and greet and a short excursion, followed by a welcome restaurant dinner in Chania.
After breakfast on Day 10, a shuttle will return you to the Chania airport for your return flight or onward travel.

You will stay in carefully selected 4- and 5-star hotels in Chania and Sougia, a country guesthouse in Agios Ioannis, and simple 2-star local hotels in Agia Roumeli and on the Omalos Plateau. All accommodations provide private rooms with ensuite bathroom and capture the traditional local charm of the rural Crete countryside.
The hallmark of an Alpenwild trip is our exceptional dining, including buffet breakfasts & many dinner options. All meals, starting with dinner on the day of arrival, buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are included. Alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks at dinners & related gratuities are not included.
