Day 1 – Arrive in Venice | St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, and Doge’s Palace

After taking a water taxi from the Marco Polo aiport to your hotel, start your Venetian adventure in St. Mark’s Square, where you can savor a cappuccino or gelato while admiring views of the Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. Begin with a walk inside St. Mark’s Basilica (free entry) to explore its stunning mosaics and intricate designs. Next, head over to the Doge’s Palace Museum to see Renaissance art by Titian and Tintoretto and walk across the Bridge of Sighs into the old prison. Evening offers a picturesque canal-side dinner with fresh pasta from Dal Moro’s or Pasta & Pasta as you stroll along Venice’s iconic waterways.

Day 2 – Art and Island Escape to Murano and Burano

Start your day with a visit to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, home to a world-class collection of modern art featuring works by Picasso, Kandinsky, and Pollock. In the afternoon, take a water taxi or water bus to Murano, where you can watch local artisans demonstrate the famous Venetian glassblowing technique. From there, continue to Burano, a vibrant island known for its colorful houses and fresh seafood. For an unforgettable experience, enjoy a cozy dinner on Burano’s waterfront and return to Venice under the stars on a private water taxi.

Day 3 – Museo Correr, Chocolate Tasting, and Departure

On your final day, explore the Museo Correr in St. Mark’s Square to discover Venetian history and the beautifully restored Imperial Apartments. In the afternoon, treat yourself to a chocolate-tasting experience at Vizio Virtu. Savor artisanal chocolates and sample their unique, milk-free hot chocolate in this historical confectionery. End your trip with a scenic stroll along the Grand Canal or, if time allows, an afternoon opera at La Fenice Theater for a classic Venetian farewell.
